| Luce
d'Bianco |
|
|
|
|
Luce
d'Bianco is a blend of top quality Seyval Blanc fermented in
separate lots to develop the tropical and soft citrus tones. This
dry, white wine has a long, cool finish with only a trace of oak.
It is one of the finest dry white wines produced anywhere, but we're
proud to boast that it is crafted on the central plains of
Kansas. The nice soft fruity finish makes it an
excellent choice to serve with a variety of mild cheeses, creamy
sauces or delicate fish. |

| Chardonnal
|
|
|
|
|
Chardonnal
is crafted from a blend of three grapes. We use Chardonnay
(A French viniferous), Chardonel (A Midwest hybrid of Chardonnay)
and Vidal (famous for Canadian Ice Wines). Carefully blended,
these three
grapes produce a very fine cuvee for a traditional oak-aged dry
white wine. The wine has a nice buttery flavor with a
moderate presence of oak. It starts with a lively aroma and has a long, smooth finish.
Enjoy it with your favorite salad or pair it with poultry and
seafood dishes, especially those with rich, creamy, sauces.

Heartland Sonata |

 |
Reminiscent of early autumn evenings,
this semi-dry white wine will play as a favorite to those preferring
a smooth and subtle, aromatic wine. The soft gold color evokes
images of Kansas wheat fields, gently swaying in the late summer
sun, awaiting harvest. The delicate aroma and medium body of this
wine recalls our Founder's connection to the Germanic wines of the
Rhine and Mosel comparing favorably to a semi-dry Reisling. |

|
|
|
Reminiscent
of the Germanic wines of the Rhine and Mosel, our Premium Auslese
is made from the finest combination of grapes. A slow fermentation
process at cool temperatures yields an aromatic wine containing hints of tropical
fruit. The wine is finished semi sweet to balance the flavors
naturally present in the fruit. The purity of its light,
golden color and delicate aroma complements a variety of foods,
especially dishes featuring poultry or seafood, however, it should
not be ignored as a sipping wine or accompaniment to dessert.

Our
founder named this wine to celebrate his wife of over forty years,
Hanne. His devotion and loving tenderness for her was apparent
whether at home or at work, Sweet Lady is a sweet white wine,
light oied with a slight foral nose and the od flavored
characteristics of the Catawba grape. It is best served well
chilled and enjoyed in the presence of friends and loved ones. |

White
Back on the shelf!

|
A
fine white wine made in the Czechoslovakian style. It is
finished sweet with an intensely fruity aroma. It is a great
wine to accompany picnic foods and desserts. Czech White is best
served at a cold temperature to bring out the full fruitiness of
this wine. Like Smoky Hill's Czech Red, this wine is great for the
wine novice, since the combination of smooth, sweet and fruity
is what the wine novice's palate is most receptive to. |

Produced from the all-American Catawba
grape, this delightful wine is full of melon and berry flavors which
combine to produce a punchy, vibrant, bold flavor. Finished to
preserve some of the color of this red-skinned beauty , a slight
amount of residual sweetness has been retained to balance the
minimal tannins developed during pressing. Pink Catawba, with its
clean, blush character, is splendid as a cordial or sipping wine.
Enjoy it well- chilled at picnics or with barbeque. |
