Dallas Morning News Wine Competition
Smoky Hill has received notice of the results of
the 2008 Dallas Morning News Wine Competition. Widely
respected in the wine industry, this competition had over 3500
entries from the US, Australia, Italy, France and Spain.
California had the largest number of domestic entries, winning over
one thousand medals...so we know the competition was stiff!
And now, we are pleased to announce Smoky Hill placed two out of
four wines submitted for competition. The
Red Raspberry, a long-time
Smoky Hill favorite and frequent people's choice award, received a
Bronze medal, and Sweet Lady
placed in the top 24% of all awards, taking a Silver.
Congratulations, Norm! |
