Leave it to a winery to celebrate "bud
break", the time of year in the vineyard signaled by the emergence
of a new years' growth, and giving a preview of the 2007 grape
production.
On April 28, the breaking of the vines’ buds will be heralded by opening the vineyard to tours and free wine tasting. Dormant for months, nearly five thousand vines are now strong and ready to thrive! It is a great time to give the official welcome to spring as the vineyard and winery staff prepare for the busy year ahead. Taste wine and eat! the grill. The gift gallery will showcase new spring and summer merchandise and offer samples from a selection of gourmet food products. The tasting bar will be open for free wine tasting. You may purchase wine by the glass or by the bottle to enjoy with your meal, or to enjoy while relaxing on the deck. |
