Hello, Heartland Sonata!
Heartland Sonata will remind you of Smoky Hill's Premium Spatlese. As it should! Heartland Sonata was previously bottled as Premium Spatlese. But since it is such a special wine, we felt it was time this wine had a look and sound as distinctive as the taste. Reminiscent of early autumn evenings, this semi-dry white wine is favored by those preferring a smooth and subtle, aromatic wine. The soft gold color evokes images of Kansas wheat fields, gently swaying in the late summer sun, awaiting harvest. The delicate aroma and medium body of this wine recalls our founder's connection to the Germanic wines of the Rhine and Mosel comparing favorably to a semi-dry Reisling. The label was designed by Canadian artist, Christina Mitchell.
